National Philanthropy Day recognizes and celebrates the contributions that philanthropy and the members of the philanthropic community have made to their local communities and to the world. This year is the 25th anniversary of National Philanthropy Day. The Central Alabama Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals is organizing Montgomery’s National Philanthropy Day celebration. The local observation will be held on the evening of November 18, 2010, at Nobles in downtown Montgomery.
