Sasser Sefton Tipton & Davis

The law firm of Sasser, Sefton, Tipton & Davis, P.C., will sponsor the Fund Development Workshop to be presented by the Central Alabama Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals on May 5, 2011, in Montgomery.  The theme of the workshop is "Lessons Learned in the Field."  The half-day workshop will provide practical advice about fundraising today and will feature experienced practitioners answering questions about major gift fundraising, annual giving, planned giving, and ethics.  Firm shareholder and attorney Brian Tipton will be one of the panelists.  Other panelists will include Ann Harper (Alabama Wildlife Federation); Ben F. Kelly, Jr., FAHP (Baptist Health Care Foundation); Cathy C. Lee, CFRE (consultant); Sandy Smith (Family Sunshine Center); Chris Theriot (Children's Hospital of Alabama); Pat Thornton (Southern Poverty Law Center); and, Douglas Watson (City of St. Jude).
