Recent matters handled by the firm include the transfer of a Chapter 11 case from Nevada to Alabama, the filing of an involuntary petition against an operating company, litigation and settlement with a profit-sharing trust formed by individual debtors in an attempt to preserve assets, the negotiation of debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing agreements, successful section 523 litigation preserving a client’s claims against debtors, litigation and settlement of fraudulent transfer claims in both Alabama and Virginia bankruptcy courts, and litigation against trustees in several courts.
