Creditors' Rights and Litigation

Complementing the firm's regulatory compliance and business law services, Sasser, Sefton, Tipton & Davis, P.C., also represents financial institutions in collections, bankruptcy, and general litigation.  The members of our Litigation Practice Group are experienced in representing banks and other financial institutions in litigation before state and Federal trial and appellate courts in diverse matters, including cases alleging breach of contract, bad faith, fraud, negligence, premises liability, statutory and regulatory violations, and wrongful foreclosure.  The firm's Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy Practice Group assists banks with commercial workouts and regularly represents financial institutions in both commercial and consumer collections as well as in bankruptcy proceedings.  In addition, our attorneys are experienced in representing financial institutions in connection with commercial and residential evictions, foreclosures, ejectment proceedings, materialmen’s liens, and bond claims.
