Recent Practice Highlights:

Obtained a foreclosure judgment for a secured lender on timberland acreage in Florida.

Obtained summary judgment for a construction lender in Montgomery County Circuit Court on the date the case was set for trial.

Selected as counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the Rice Financial Corporation and its wholly owned subsidiary, Rice Acceptance Company, Inc., in a Chapter 11 bankruptcy case.

One of six attorneys in the state appointed by the Alabama State Bar to serve on the Alabama State Bar Special Committee on Mortgage Foreclosures.

Represented a secured lender in connection with seeking the appointment of a receiver and foreclosure of hotel properties.

Represented a secured lender in connection with seeking the appointment of a receiver for an assisted living facility; foreclosed on the facility and obtained a money judgment against the borrower.

Represented a secured lender in connection with negotiating a workout and foreclosure of a lakefront condominium project.
